Extremely Disappointed with Appointment Handling
I booked a dental appointment for Monday, September 9th, about 2 weeks in advance. When I arrived as scheduled, I was sent home and told to come back today, Friday 13th, the day before my departure flight. This rescheduling was already frustrating.
Today, I faced additional and unexpected issues. I waited for an hour for the bus from Magaluf to Palma, but three buses numbered 104 arrived late and all had a “Complete Full” sign. Two of the buses didn’t even stop, and the third only took on a few passengers, leaving me behind.
I called the dental clinic and explained that I was unable to catch a bus. I was told that I needed to be there by 1:15 pm because they are closing at 2 pm. I wasn’t able to get on any buses to Palma, so I went back to the hotel and will not be able to have my appointment another time because I’m leaving Mallorca tomorrow morning.
I’m extremely disappointed as I had planned this visit well in advance, only to be faced with a situation beyond my control. The lack of respect for my time and the poor handling of appointments are unacceptable. I’m heading back to the UK tomorrow morning and will not be visiting Mallorca again, so I will need to find a way to do my dental appointment somewhere else. I’m very disappointed as I only wasted a lot of my time for nothing.
