Hotel Catalonia Majórica

Amazing stay at Catalonia Majorica! The location is great, and the private lift/cable car down to the main street is such a unique and convenient feature. It was very clean, the room was well-maintained, with comfortable beds and all the basic amenities provided. Food was also great. But the best thing about the hotel is the staff, who were incredibly kind and welcoming! Would definitely come back!

Very, very impressed with this hotel- booked a week in advance for a long weekend in off season, upon arrival we were upgraded to a sea view room with huge balcony on the top floor. Views across Palma with the marina and port in front were amazing. Hotel has very clearly been recently renovated, room was spotless and modern, bathroom had great amenities and a rainfall shower. Bed was huge and comfy. They even placed a couple of Lindt chocolates on the bedside table to welcome us. Paid minibar was well stocked and fairly priced, and 2 bottles of water in room for free. Due to off season renovation works, the outside bar area and pool was shut, but didn't affect us as we wouldn't have sat outside anyway. We could see from balcony above that the area, when complete, will be lovely in the summer and the pool is a good size. We were given 2 glasses of cava on arrival waiting for the room to be ready, a great touch. Staff couldn't have been more friendly, especially Diane- they all went above and beyond. Parking is on the expensive side at 22euro/day, but you can find parking spaces on the nearby streets for free. Hotel is located on top of a hill, 45min ish walk into town and uber was 7euro. Big shopping centre a 10 min walk away. A really great location. Thanks for everything, would return!

We stayed at this hotel for five days and ended up staying in a couple of different rooms. Everything was great throughout the stay, and the rooms were comfortable and well kept. The service was also outstanding

We didn’t use the outdoor pool since it was off season, but the indoor pool was really nice though. The food was good as well, with plenty of choices. Overall, a very pleasant stay and a hotel we’d happily return to

My stay at Catalonia Majórica was truly wonderful. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and perfectly located with beautiful views of the port and the city.

I especially want to thank *Mark and Diana at the reception*. They were both incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful. Since I don’t speak the language well, they took extra time to make sure I understood everything and always asked if I needed help. Their kindness and attention made me feel safe and welcome every single day.

The staff service at this hotel is excellent — everyone was polite, efficient, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. Their professionalism really stood out and made the experience more pleasant.

However, the facilities in the room are clearly outdated. The bathroom shows visible signs of wear and tear and is in need of repair. The shower area seemed to still be under maintenance (see photos below), which was inconvenient. Basic amenities such as toothbrushes were not provided, which felt surprising for a hotel of this level.

On the positive side, the balcony was a nice and added some charm to the room. Parking, however, is quite limited and can be difficult to manage.

Overall, while the staff service deserves praise, the hotel itself feels too old in 2025 and requires significant updates to match the quality of its team.
