Hotel Nixe Palace

Lovely hotel. Overall a wonderful stay. I had a couple of niggles on the first day but spoke with a lovely lady at reception the following morning who was sincere and understanding. Pool is busy but not noisy. The majority of the pool staff go above and beyond and are very friendly. Room clean and well equipped. AC works well. Bathroom great. Slept better than in my own home. I would recommend & return.

Fantastic hotel staff! As a local boat trip business, we’ve had many mutual guests and the team has always been incredibly helpful, professional, and friendly. They regularly organized taxis and contacted us directly, making everything smooth for the guests. Truly appreciated thank you to the receptionist staff!

We had lunch on the balcony at Nixe Palace on New Year’s Day. While the waitress was friendly, it was immediately obvious that the restaurant was understaffed. Plates from previous tables were left uncleared for far too long, which resulted in seagulls repeatedly dive-bombing the balcony to get at leftover food — not exactly the experience you expect from a five-star hotel.

We spent around €250 on lunch. The starters were very good, but unfortunately the main courses were a real disappointment and fell well short of what I would expect at this level.

The most upsetting part of the experience happened afterwards. As we were getting into the lift with our six-month-old baby, the tall dark haired doorman physically blocked the lift doors to me, my wife and pram shouted at us that we were not allowed to use the lift to go down to the beach following our meal unless we went to reception to “register.” This woke our baby and came across as unnecessarily aggressive and rude. At reception, staff had to verify that we had indeed spent €250 at lunch before allowing us to use the lift — by which point our baby was awake and crying. Ultimately, the reception confirmed we could use the lift.

This sort of treatment might sadly be expected in some busy beach hotels in high summer, but at a hotel like Nixe Palace it was shocking. Between the service issues, disappointing mains, and the way we were treated as paying guests — especially with a baby — this experience has put me off returning entirely.

We travelled in mid October with our 4.5yr old. If you are looking for a lovely, easy break in a great location with a little bit of luxury at a fair price this is for you. Good to know- bus stop to porto-pi shopping centre ( inc large supermarket for essentials ) 10 mins away, main area Palma ( Jaune 111) 25 mins from no 4 bus outside hotel ( buses are every 10 mins, 2 euros per adult) , Sandy beach ( hotel is on beach) lovely pool area with good food selection from fresh salads to pizza, friendly, helpful staff, great size rooms with balcony ( we had superior room with sea view) then this is your place. We have managed to relax because everything was so easily accessible. Make sure you have breakfast included - its an amazing start to the day with excellent choices ( including gluten free and dairy free milk) all with a sea view.. I dont understand some of the negative reviews, I am well travelled and this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in because it ticks so many boxes.

We had an incredible stay at the Nixe Palace. The hotel is perfectly located right on the beach, offering stunning views of the turquoise water and coastline. The breakfast selection was fantastic, with plenty of variety and a beautiful ocean backdrop that made every morning special. The rooms were comfortable, the facilities excellent, and the overall atmosphere relaxing and elegant. A perfect choice for anyone looking for a luxurious beachfront stay in Mallorca. Just 10 mins in Uber to Palma as well.
