Looking for a kind of second home / private vacation dream, we’ve seen a lot of houses in perfect locations but they were not well kept or, even worse, almost run-down and rarely equipped with an up-to-date technical standard.
After just went back home after another (for us) unsuccessful inspection-trip to our most featured island, Mallorca, we made contact with SANDBERG - and way more special - our realtor, Richie. He just had re-listed an interesting vacation home (due to a familar incident of an interested couple, the deal could not been closed) and sent over the information file to us by e-mail. Because of our knowledge about the region/area of this interesting offer we‘ve set-up bery quickly a video-call and (as we from then named him) „Super-Richie“ gave us a tour around of (now our) dream-home. He was so kind, so sensitive, so helpful with all the information about its surroundings, that we instantly decided to fly back to Mallorca (just two days after our return) to meet Richie in person.
All meeting requests from our side had been treated from him in a very kind and handsome manner, so we had a personal inspection with him (and a friend of ours, we brang for maybe translations).
After an in-depth inspection of the house together with Richie, we were happy to confirm him our wish to own this beautiful, in a quiet neighborhood nestled personal paradise and „verbally“ signed the contract.
The advantage of Richie (and his employer Sandberg) is that they are well connected since their longtime presence in the real-estate business on the island.
Richie could recommend to us a local lawyer (bi-lingual) who helped us through the paperworld of legal documents for the closing. We had to make a 10% down-payment (of the homes asking price) in order to secure the sale and 4 weeks after our personal inspection with „Super-Richie“ we sat down altogether at the notary to close the deal. After the last signatures were placed on the documents, we received the keys for our house and spent directly the first night with our family there.
Thanks to Richie, who guided us very well through this whole process during the period from its first sight to its closing, the buy of a home-far-from-home with Richie was just a dream and we could most strongly recommend this real-estate guy. He‘s our „man of honor“ and definitely not only our match-maker but also our match-winner!
The tears, dropping briefly during our decision for this house when we saw it in real, will be also stored in our thoughts when thinking of Richie!
