Quick stop here for a morning flat white and an ensemaida.
Seems to be a chain bakery cafe but the cakes and sandwiches seems to be made fresh in house. Coffee good, ensemaida good and was a le to get a table outside.

Prices too high but staff are very friendly. Its one of the few places in the centre to get a quick sandwich. I have to give 5 stars or Emily and Paula will beat me up.

When looking for a caffeine hit mid-afternoon, you can sometimes be up against limited options.
This is what led us to Santagloria, one of the few spots open at 3pm.
Branding and photos led us to feel excited for our little pit stop, especially as we looked through the window and saw a delightful collection of baked goods.
However, everything changed once we got our items. 2 empanadas and 2 coffees.
Empanadas, dry, too much pastry, barely enough filling (see photo). Coffees, lacking any flavour whatsoever. I’d had a machine coffee from the hotel this morning with more flavour.
Do yourself a favour and find someplace that actually has a soul

I popped in for a refreshing and desperately good coffee. I found this place after shopping and exploring the area. It looks lovely from outside and very busy, so it's a good sign!
A lot of choices and very tempting! All look good, delicious and most are traditional Spanish. It was a proper coffee and a yummy pastry. They have more space upstairs, but I sat downstairs as I found a space just for myself. It was very busy, so the seating area was very crowded, untidy and dirty. I had a limited time, so I felt a little rushed myself here, but I definitely will return again, and I will take more time to enjoy myself the most! I highly recommend everyone who's in this area.
