The Catedral-Basílica de Santa María de Mallorca is absolutely stunning. The architecture is grand, beautiful, and honestly humbling. It’s one of those places that makes you stop for a moment and appreciate how much vision, patience, and craftsmanship went into creating something so remarkable.

It’s also an easy walk and conveniently located near the city center, with plenty of high-end shops, restaurants, and beautiful streets nearby. Whether you’re visiting for the history, the architecture, or just to take in one of Palma’s most iconic landmarks, it’s definitely worth the stop.

The Cathedral of Palma is an extraordinary and imposing landmark. Its Gothic architecture is breathtaking, both from the outside and inside, with impressive height, intricate details, and beautiful light entering through the large rose windows. The location directly by the sea adds to its unique atmosphere and makes the visit especially memorable. The interior feels calm and dignified, inviting visitors to take their time and appreciate the space. A must-see site in Palma, not only for its historical significance but also for its architectural beauty.

An absolute masterpiece in Palma!"
The cathedral 'La Seu' is a breathtaking highlight that you simply cannot miss. The Gothic architecture combined with Gaudí’s unique influence is stunning. I was especially impressed by the massive rose window and the way the light dances inside the nave. It is a place of peace and incredible beauty. Make sure to book your tickets in advance to avoid the long queues and remember to dress appropriately for a church!

I visited the Catedral-Basílica de Santa María de Mallorca (La Seu) in December 2025, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The towering Gothic architecture, intricate stonework, and stunning stained glass windows make it one of the most impressive cathedrals I’ve ever seen.

Inside, the space feels grand and serene, with sunlight streaming through the massive rose window and casting colorful patterns on the floor. The mix of historic artistry and the ongoing subtle renovations by modern artists like Gaudí adds a unique charm. December meant fewer tourists, so I could enjoy the cathedral peacefully and really take in its beauty.

Overall: A must-see landmark in Palma. Whether you’re interested in architecture, history, or just awe-inspiring spaces, La Seu is unforgettable.

A must-visit in Palma — the £10 (approx. €10) entry fee is genuinely worth it. The Cathedral of Mallorca delivers everything you hope for: breathtaking architecture, rich history, and a serene atmosphere that makes it much more than just another tourist stop.

From the moment you step in, the grandeur of the Gothic nave and the soaring stained glass windows grab your attention. Even on the standard ticket (which you noted is the cheapest option), you’re able to take in the key highlights — no hidden upsell required to appreciate the core experience. The cost-to-value ratio is excellent.

The staff were courteous and helpful, and the location in Palma de Mallorca is hard to beat. If you’re in the area, set aside at least an hour. Bring your camera, perhaps a bit of quiet reflection time, and enjoy one of the most emblematic buildings in the Mediterranean.

Highly recommended — excellent value, well preserved and beautifully presented.
